When not teaching meditation at Donghua Zen Temple, Master Wanxing with his students going out for a tea planting trip, spiritual tea smell is the Buddhist Zen monk hand-selects and infuses with prayers.
In Donghua Zen Temple, home to a storied history of zen tea cultivation, the pursuit of the highest quality zen tea drives innovation from farm to factory.
Crafting tea is a process that demands both care and expertise. Cultivated amidst lush green fields in beautiful corners of the earth, tea leaves are carefully harvested, withered, rolled, oxidised and dried by skilled hands. Each step contributes to the final quality and flavour of the tea.
